Hey guys! Today’s DIY Saturday is going to be teaching you guys how to make your own Snow Cone lip balm. This pick is also on ToniEllison’s YouTube channel. I’ve really been loving her DIYs lately, as you can probably tell. Well, let’s get started!
You’ll need :
– Printable Sno – Cone Template from this website :
– Bead Containers from this website :
– Hot Glue
– Hot Glue Gun
– Mold Putty from this website :
– Resin, from this website
– Sea Salt
– Food Coloring
– Popsicle Sticks
– Plastic Cups ( for mixing )
Step 1 : We are going to start with making a dome. Take 2 parts of silicone mold putty and mix them together. Take a dome shape made out of polymer clay, and wrap the mold around it. Then let it set for 25 minutes.
Step 2 : Mix equal parts of resin, very well, with the Popsicle stick.
Step 3 : Take a little chunky, hard sea salt and coat it with not to much resin. Then add 1 DROP ( Not 2, that will be AWFUL=( ) into the mixture. Be sure that you didn’t just do one cup of one color ( unless you wanted to ), be sure that you did different cups with the same steps, just different colors.
Step 4 : Put the mixture( s ) in little lines inside of the mold ( dome ).
Step 5 : Gently press in a bead container.
Step 6 : BTW, Toni recommended that you make the card stock printables 2.5 tall inches from top to bottom so that the bead container will fit. Now, make sure that you’ve measured the cup, made the shape, and glued it.
Step 7 : Put the cone in the cup and put in the hot glue to brace it.
Step 8 : After that cooled, laminate it with some tape to the outside of the cone to protect it and make in shiny. Then cut the tape at the top, that’s over the actual snow cone part.
Step 9 : For the lip gloss recipe, use 1 tablespoon of beeswax to 2 tablespoons of oil. Then one tablespoon of castor oil and one tablespoon of almond oil. After that drop in a few drops of peppermint essential oil and a little bit of honey, also. Then melt it in the microwave, and used a dropper to fill up the container. When you’re done with filling up the container, put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

Hey guys! For today’s Random Thursday, I’ll be teaching you guys some really quick beauty tips that you can use at home. Let’s get started!
Tip #1 : This one is for the girls who want longer, curved eyelashes. Basically, my twins out there! Beauty experts suggest that you, what they call, “warm” your eyelashes with a hairdryer for 5 – 8 seconds before you apply your mascara. Also, when you use the hairdryer, make sure that it’s not too close to your eyelashes, so that they don’t burn them off. When I heard about this little beauty hack, I was like, ” WHAT? How is this possible? “. But, I tested it out and the results were pretty good. Bravo, hairdryer!
Tip #2 : This one is for the anti oily skin club. To prevent this one, use an ice cube on your face until it melts. Make sure that this is added to your nightly routine because your supposed to do this every night. Doing this will leave you with a clean and refresh your complexion everyday. HALLELUJAH!!!
Tip #3 : Does your eyeliner crash and leave marks wherever you used it? Well, this tip is for you! To avoid this problem, put your eyeliner in the fridge for 15 minutes anytime before you use it. By doing this, it will also be easier to use! This tip is heavenly!!!
Tip #4 : SUUUGAARR! YES PLEEAASE!!! Sugar is not just sweet, it also is an AMAZE lip softener. There’s nothing sweeter! To have a clean complexion and softer lips, mix some sugar with some olive oil and knead it onto the wet skin. MIRACLE WORKER!!!
Tip #5 : Want a softer complexion? Green tea can help with that! It’s full of antioxidants and a miracle for complexion irritations. Be sure that you rinse your face with green tea. It’s the best method for obtaining a softer complexion.

Hey guys, I haven’t been posting because I’ve been traveling, but I’m posting today! It might be a little early but, hey, getting back on the road! That was just a quick update on me. Today’s Tip Tuesday is going to be just some really random but helpful tips. There will be about 10 of them, so, let’s get started!
Tip #1 – ALWAYS do minimal amounts of makeup during the summer!
Tip #2 – Use some extra eye cream on your cuticles. The more hydrated your cuticles are, the stronger your nails will become.
Tip #3 – Wear some white eyeliner in your water line to make your eyes appear to be less red ( this one is a pretty well – known tip, but it’s an INSANELY good one =) ) .
Tip #4 – Make sure, when applying stuff to your lips, that you put a shimmery color towards the center of your lips to attract more light to them and make them seem pouty. I got this tip from Katrina Barrion, who is one of my FAV makeup artists.
Tip #5 – For your skin to be an acne free zone, find a cleanser with salycilic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
Tip #6 – When it comes to picking out the right red lipstick, if you have a warmer undertone then go with a warmer red. If you have a cooler undertone, go with a cooler red.
Tip #7 – During the summer months, the last thing you want is to be caked down in foundation. Instead, use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream.
Tip #8 – To get rid of a zit, DO NOT pick at it, the bacteria that’s on your fingers will create a lot more redness. Also, any sort of attempt to pop the zit will make things worse and if you do pop it, you’ll end up with a nasty scar ( T – Swift reference, anyone? ) Get along you Starbucks lovers!
Tip #9 – ALWAYS wash your makeup off before you go to sleep! I do this WAY too many times! It’s not fun to wake up with that morning after look.
Tip #10 – ALWAYS use a moisturizr with SPF in the mornings. ESPECIALLY in the winter.
Well, that’s all for today guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. Also, subscribe! You know you want to! I’ll talk to you guys, tomorrow, BYE!!!
Hey guys! Once again, sorry for not posting for the past few days. I’ve been pretty busy =) . So, today’s DIY Saturday pick is… Bethany Mota’s water bottle chandelier! Let’s get started!
– Some water bottles ( of course ! )
– A few wire hangers
– Spray paint
– Any kind of fishing string or a regular wire
Step 1 : Take all the wrappers off of the water bottles. Be sure to get as much of the wrapper off as you can =) . If there’s a little water in your water bottle, drink it! If it’s not your water bottle and there’s water in it, pour it out.
Step 2 : Now, you should cut the water bottles in half. Then take your scissors and cut little strips up to the top. Also, be sure to do the same with the bottom half of the bottles, and cut a little hole at the top so that it can be similar to the top half.
Step 3 : Flatten down the little petals ( the strips ), because they’re sticking upwards and they should be flattened down to resemble a flower.
Step 4 : Go OUTSIDE and spray paint theses babies. When you’re doing this, be sure to have a paper tower or do it on a table so you don’t paint the grass. Also, you can get creative doing this. You can do an ombre effect, or a rainbow, etc. Let them dry.
Step 5 : Take the wire hangers and bend them into a wide circle. and if you have any extra wire, you may cut it off.
Step 6 : Take the actual wires and wire two sides of each flower. You want to make sure that you have some extra wire to wrap it around the ring of the top halves.
Step 7 : Now with the excess wire, take it and wrap it around the hanger circle to keep the flowers in place.
Step 8 : Take some more of the wire and wrap two parts of it around the biggest ring you made and take the smaller ring you made and take each wire and attach it to the smaller one.
Step 9 : Lastly, take some ribbon and tie it to the top part of the chandelier ( the smaller part ). Then tie all the ribbon together into a bow or whatever you feel like doing.

Hey guys! For today’s Tip Tuesday, I’ll be giving you guys some DOs and DON’Ts for summer skincare. Let’s get started!
DO wear cover ups – Look amazing and stay sun protected. Wear a rash guard to minimize your exposure to the sun.
DON’T go too high or low – Only go with a SPF 30. Anything higher than that can give you false senses of security – not much protection and it also will still have to be reapplied , and anything lower doesn’t really shield you from the sun’s rays.
DO save your hair – Seaweed isn’t just for sushi! Spritz your hair with a sea mineral spray to prevent your hair from frying. After that, rub sunscreen into your part to prevent your scalp from burning up like Jessie J.
DON’T forget to reapply – After taking a dip in the water, be sure to reapply your sunscreen. There is NO such thing as a waterproof sunscreen, so apply that sunscreen!
DO decode the SPF labels – There’s a lot written on a sunscreen bottle. Look for a sunscreen label with the term ” broad spectrum protection ” . That means that it will protect your skin from the sun’s most damaging UVA and UVB rays.
DON’T ignore any strange spots – Always be on the lookout for any spots that are bigger than the eraser on a pencil and/or some spots that have changed size or shape. You’ll def need to have your doctor or a dermatologist check them out.
DO regular mole checks – Remember your ABCs : A is for asymmetry, B is for border, and C is for color. If you see a mole that’s sides are asymmetrical, a border that looks scalloped or uneven, or has a variety of colors, it’s a sign that the mole could be unhealthy and you should tell a doctor.
Well, that’s all for today, guys! Be sure to leave a comment below and give this blog a thumbs UP. Also, let me know if I forgot 1. Anyways, I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!
Hey guys! You should all know my Monday drill, so Let’s get started! ( Q – Quote )
Q # 1 : ” Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out. ” – John Wooden – Make the best of things and things will make the best for you. That’s basically what he said.
Q # 2 : ” If you are not willing to risk you usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary. ” – Jim Rohn – Ordinary is boring, you have to take risk to live life.
Q # 3 : ” Good things come to people who wait, but better things come to those who go out and get them. ” This was an anonymous quote from yet another website, but I thought it was really nice and true at the same time.
Q # 4 : ” Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. ” – Winston Churchill – In other words, don’t let the failures get to you too much. They’re what make you successful.
Q # 5 : ” Whenever you see a successful person, you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them. ” – Vaibhav Shah – That goes for all celebrities. You see their popularity, not the sacrifices they made to get to their position. Unless they make a documentary! Had to put a little humor in.
Q # 6 : ” The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. ” – Another anonymous one, but really true.
Q # 7 : ” What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise. ” – Oscar Wilde – Bitter things turned into a blessings.
Q # 8 : ” No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist. ” – Anonymous but EXTREMELY true!
Q # 9 : ” The starting point of all achievement is desire. ” – Napoleon Hill – Memorable. Dreams can really become realities.
Q # 10 : ” Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear — not absence of fear. ” – Mark Twain – This is a really artistic quote. That’s all I have to say about this.

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting yesterday, I’ve been having some technical difficulties. Just had to let you guys know! Today’s DIY Saturday is going to be ToniEllison inspired. I’m going to break down how she made the Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt lip balm. Let’s get started!
You’ll Need :
– Printable Pinkberry cup ( from her website, http://toniellison.blogspot.com/2014/12/diy-pinberrry-frozeen-yogurt-lip-balm.html )

– Bead Containers from http://www.joann.com/bead-storage-container-w-30-small-cylinder-boxes/9035866.html#q=bead++container&start=29
Be sure to print the templates on card stock =) !
Step 1 – First, cut out the templates. Next, wrap the template around the mini cup, then hot glue it.
Step 2 – Fold some cardstock paper to make the trim. After that, just wrap it around the rim of the cup and add some glue.
Step 3 – Fold up some paper and put it in the middle of the cup to hold it in place.
Step 4 – Put in the bead container, to see if it fits, then add some glue to the paper at the bottom, and put the bead container on the glue to ( Duh! ) glue it in place.
Step 5 – Add some hot glue around the bead container to fill up the space in the cup. Clean up the the extra glue with a razor blade.
Step 6 – You may cover up the hot glue with any sort of white paint. In her video, she used fabric paint.
Step 7 – Take the white polymer clay, and push it through the icing tip to make the frozen yogurt.
Step 6 – Take the other bead container and cover it with the saran wrap, so the clay won’t stick to it.
Step 8 – Take the polymer and wrap it around that bead container ( the one with saran wrap ), until it resembles froyo.
Step 9 – When you’re finished with that, bake the clay for 15 to 20 minutes at 275 degrees F.
Step 10 – For the sprinkles, create tiny strings of clay, bake them, and cut them at varying lengths.
Step 11 – Glue the sprinkles to the polymer clay to make them stay.
Step 12 – For the gummy worm, take 2 pieces of clay, put them together, and curve the edges. Bake the worm. Then cover the worm in some Triple Thick Glossy Glaze. After that, dip it into some white craft sand. Then that’s all for the worm!
Actual Lip Balm, You’ll need :
– 1 & 1/2 Tbsp Beeswax
– 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
– 1 Tbsp Castor Oil
Step 1 ( For the lip balm ) – Mix up the ingredients, and then microwave the mixture until it’s melted. Use a dropper to fill it into the bead container. After you fill up the bead container, then let it cool and resolidify. She said that you also would want to mix one part beeswax and two parts oil.
Well that’s all for today guys! Check out Toni’s video to se what it should look like! Sorry if I got something wrong, but you will be able to check out her video on YouTube. Be sure to leave a comment below and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!
Hey guys! Happy Thursday! So, today’s post is going to be beach related. I’m going to start off with listing my 3 EXTREMELY important essentials for the beach, then I’m going to show you guys my favorite bathing suits and cover ups. Let’s get started! ( E – Essential )
E # 1.
My first essential on the list is, of course, LIP BALM! But since we’re talking beach related, it has to have SPF ( sunscreen ) in it because the sun’s rays are both a blessing and a curse at the same time. That’s why Baby Lips is a good example. Also, I don’t want to end up looking like the girl from Spongebob, you know, the one with the chapped lips!
So yeah, on to the next one!
E # 2.
Next on the essentials list is Clean and Clear foaming facial cleanser or in my case, magic eraser of pimples and makeup! Yeah, moving on! I NEED this stuff because it gets rid of any leftover mascara and it’s a good facial wash for these pests called pimples and zits, as I said before! Also, it’s oil free! NO OIL!!! We were blessed with this gift!
E # 3.
Last but DEFINITELY not least, you saw this coming, SUNSCREEN! Yay! Anyways, this essential should be in EVERYONE’S beach essential list. Just saying! Sunscreen lotion is basically a part of the beach. It is SOOO important! You need this to survive the beach! I highly suggest the moisturizing one because, oh I don’t know, moisturizes your skin!
On to the swimsuits! ( SS – Swim Suits )
SS # 1.
Okay, can I just say how much I love this swimsuit? I LOVE THIS SWIMSUIT! Alright, it’s like wearing a peplum top and bikini bottoms. That’s why I said it would go more towards the girly girls because peplum are those tops that flare out at about your belly button.
SS # 2.
This is just a simple one piece bathing suit. I really like these too, but because I think they’re really classy! I love these the most when they’re worn with a wide brimmed hat, you know. I think that it really adds to the classy feeling. Makes you feel SOOO classy!
SS # 3.
Lastly, we have the high waisted bathing suit. It’s only the bottoms that are high waisted, but we call it a high waisted bathing suit, oh well. I love this one because it reminds me of Marilyn Monroe and Annete Funicello, Mostly Annete. I also love how it’s a bikini, but it doesn’t show as much skin. I mean it is a bathing suit, so when I say skin, I mean the belly.
Now for the cover ups! ( CU – Cover Up )
CU # 1.
The first one, here is kind of like a kimono. These are really cute, but I would suggest wearing a belt, most likely a braided belt. I say wear a belt because it doesn’t close up. I suggest a braided belt because, in my opinion, braided belts look amazing with these cover ups.
The kimonos are cute, but the dresses will always be my favorite cover up! I love these because they look like regular sundresses, but they are actually cover ups. It’s also because I’m so girly! These are worn best sleeveless, but when they have the straps tie around your neck.
CU # 3.
This last cover up is kind of like the dress, but more of a shirt. It’s also perfect because it comes off as quick as the kimono. Like a shirt! I love this specific one though because it’s a soft blue with these pink dots hanging off of the sleeves and the end of it.
Well that’s all for today! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!
