Tip Tuesday!!!

Hey guys! For today’s Tip Tuesday, I’ll be giving you guys some DOs and DON’Ts for summer skincare. Let’s get started!

DO wear cover ups – Look amazing and stay sun protected. Wear a rash guard to minimize your exposure to the sun.

DON’T go too high or low – Only go with a SPF 30. Anything higher than that can give you false senses of security – not much protection and it also will still have to be reapplied , and anything lower doesn’t really shield you from the sun’s rays.

DO save your hair – Seaweed isn’t just for sushi! Spritz your hair with a sea mineral spray to prevent your hair from frying. After that, rub sunscreen into your part to prevent your scalp from burning up like Jessie J.

DON’T forget to reapply – After taking a dip in the water, be sure to reapply your sunscreen. There is NO such thing as a waterproof sunscreen, so apply that sunscreen!

DO decode the SPF labels – There’s a lot written on a sunscreen bottle. Look for a sunscreen label with the term ” broad spectrum protection ” . That means that it will protect your skin from the sun’s most damaging UVA and UVB rays.

DON’T ignore any strange spots – Always be on the lookout for any spots that are bigger than the eraser on a pencil and/or some spots that have changed size or shape. You’ll def need to have your doctor or a dermatologist check them out.

DO regular mole checks – Remember your ABCs : A is for asymmetry, B is for border, and C is for color. If you see a mole that’s sides are asymmetrical, a border that looks scalloped or uneven, or has a variety of colors, it’s a sign that the mole could be unhealthy and you should tell a doctor.

Well, that’s all for today, guys! Be sure to leave a comment below and give this blog a thumbs UP. Also, let me know if I forgot 1. Anyways, I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Motivational Monday!!!

Hey guys! You should all know my Monday drill, so Let’s get started!                       ( Q – Quote )

Q # 1 : ” Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out. ” – John Wooden – Make the best of things and things will make the best for you. That’s basically what he said.

Q # 2 : ” If you are not willing to risk you usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary. ” – Jim Rohn – Ordinary is boring, you have to take risk to live life.

Q # 3 : ” Good things come to people who wait, but better things come to those who go out and get them. ” This was an anonymous quote from yet another website, but I thought it was really nice and true at the same time.

Q # 4 : ” Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. ” – Winston Churchill – In other words, don’t let the failures get to you too much. They’re what make you successful.

Q # 5 : ” Whenever you see a successful person, you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them. ” – Vaibhav Shah – That goes for all celebrities. You see their popularity, not the sacrifices they made to get to their position. Unless they make a documentary! Had to put a little humor in.

Q # 6 : ” The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. ” – Another anonymous one, but really true.

Q # 7 : ” What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise. ” – Oscar Wilde – Bitter things turned into a blessings.

Q # 8 : ” No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist. ” – Anonymous but EXTREMELY true!

Q # 9 : ” The starting point of all achievement is desire. ” – Napoleon Hill – Memorable. Dreams can really become realities.

Q # 10 : ” Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear — not absence of fear. ” – Mark Twain – This is a really artistic quote. That’s all I have to say about this.

Well that’s all for today guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys later, BYE!!!

DIY Saturday : Froyo Edition!!!

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting yesterday, I’ve been having some technical difficulties. Just had to let you guys know! Today’s DIY Saturday is going to be ToniEllison inspired. I’m going to break  down how she made the Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt lip balm. Let’s get started!

You’ll Need :

– Printable Pinkberry cup ( from her website, http://toniellison.blogspot.com/2014/12/diy-pinberrry-frozeen-yogurt-lip-balm.html )

– Scissors

– Hot Glue Gun

– Hot Glue Sticks

– E600 Glue ( Or any glue like it )

– Mini Cups – Dollar Tree ( Of course! )

– Polymer Clay

– 1M Icing Tip

– Saran Wrap

– Acrylic Paint

– Hot Glue

– Bead Containers from http://www.joann.com/bead-storage-container-w-30-small-cylinder-boxes/9035866.html#q=bead++container&start=29

Be sure to print the templates on card stock =) !

Step 1 – First, cut out the templates. Next, wrap the template around the mini cup, then hot glue it.

Step 2 – Fold some cardstock paper to make the trim. After that, just wrap it around the rim of the cup and add some glue.

Step 3 – Fold up some paper and put it in the middle of the cup to hold it in place.

Step 4 – Put in the bead container, to see if it fits, then add some glue to the paper at the bottom, and put the bead container on the glue to ( Duh! ) glue it in place.

Step 5 – Add some hot glue around the bead container to fill up the space in the cup. Clean up the the extra glue with a razor blade.

Step 6 – You may cover up the hot glue with any sort of white paint. In her video, she used fabric paint.

Step 7 – Take the white polymer clay, and push it through the icing tip  to make the frozen yogurt.

Step 6 – Take the other bead container and cover it with the saran wrap, so the clay won’t stick to it.

Step 8 – Take the polymer and wrap it around that bead container ( the one with saran wrap ), until it resembles froyo.

Step 9 – When you’re finished with that, bake the clay for 15 to 20 minutes at 275 degrees F.

Step 10 – For the sprinkles, create tiny strings of clay, bake them, and cut them at varying lengths.

Step 11 – Glue the sprinkles to the polymer clay to make them stay.

Step 12 – For the gummy worm, take 2 pieces of clay, put them together, and curve the edges. Bake the worm. Then cover the worm in some Triple Thick Glossy Glaze. After that, dip it into some white craft sand. Then that’s all for the worm!

Actual Lip Balm, You’ll need :

– 1 & 1/2 Tbsp Beeswax

– 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

– 1 Tbsp Castor Oil

Step 1 ( For the lip balm ) – Mix up the ingredients, and then microwave the mixture until it’s melted. Use a dropper to fill it into the bead container. After you fill up the bead container, then let it cool and resolidify. She said that you also would want to mix one part beeswax and two parts oil.

Well that’s all for today guys! Check out Toni’s video to se what it should look like! Sorry if I got something wrong, but you will be able to check out her video on YouTube.  Be sure to leave a comment below and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Random Thursday!!!

Hey guys! Happy Thursday! So, today’s post is going to be beach related. I’m going to start off with listing my 3 EXTREMELY important essentials for the beach, then I’m going to show you guys my favorite bathing suits and cover ups. Let’s get started! ( E – Essential )

E # 1.

My first essential on the list is, of course, LIP BALM! But since we’re talking beach related, it has to have SPF ( sunscreen ) in it because the sun’s rays are both a blessing and a curse at the same time. That’s why Baby Lips is a good example. Also, I don’t want to end up looking like the girl from Spongebob, you know, the one with the chapped lips!

So yeah, on to the next one!

E # 2.

Next on the essentials list is Clean and Clear foaming facial cleanser or in my case, magic eraser of pimples and makeup! Yeah, moving on! I NEED this stuff because it gets rid of any leftover mascara and it’s a good facial wash for these pests called pimples and zits, as I said before! Also, it’s oil free! NO OIL!!! We were blessed with this gift!

E # 3.

Last but DEFINITELY not least, you saw this coming, SUNSCREEN! Yay! Anyways, this essential should be in EVERYONE’S beach essential list. Just saying! Sunscreen lotion is basically a part of the beach. It is SOOO important! You need this to survive the beach! I highly suggest the moisturizing one because, oh I don’t know, moisturizes your skin!

On to the swimsuits! ( SS – Swim Suits )

SS # 1.

Okay, can I just say how much I love this swimsuit? I LOVE THIS SWIMSUIT! Alright, it’s like wearing a peplum top and bikini bottoms. That’s why I said it would go more towards the girly girls because peplum are those tops that flare out at about your belly button.

SS # 2.

This is just a simple one piece bathing suit. I really like these too, but because I think they’re really classy! I love these the most when they’re worn with a wide brimmed hat, you know. I think that it really adds to the classy feeling. Makes you feel SOOO classy!

SS # 3.

Lastly, we have the high waisted bathing suit. It’s only the bottoms that are high waisted, but we call it a high waisted bathing suit, oh well. I love this one because it reminds me of Marilyn Monroe and Annete Funicello, Mostly Annete. I also love  how it’s a bikini, but it doesn’t show as much skin. I mean it is a bathing suit, so when I say skin, I mean the belly.

Now for the cover ups! ( CU – Cover Up )

CU # 1.

The first one, here is kind of like a kimono. These are really cute, but I would suggest wearing a belt, most likely a braided belt. I say wear a belt because it doesn’t close up. I suggest a braided belt because, in my opinion, braided belts look amazing with these cover ups.

CU #2.

The kimonos are cute, but the dresses will always be my favorite cover up! I love these because they look like regular sundresses, but they are actually cover ups. It’s also because I’m so girly! These are worn best sleeveless, but when they have the straps tie around your neck.

CU # 3.

This last cover up is kind of like the dress, but more of a shirt. It’s also perfect because it comes off as quick as the kimono. Like a shirt! I love this specific one though because it’s a soft blue with these pink dots hanging off of the sleeves and the end of it.

Well that’s all for today! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Makeup Wednesday!!!

Hey guys! It’s that time again…MAKEUP WEDNESDAY! If you’re new to my blog Makeup Wednesday is where I list some situations and give you guys a few makeup looks to choose from to wear to the place or party that I give as an example. Let’s get started! ( MS – Makeup Situation )

MS # 1. – In this one, let’s say you were going to lunch with a friend. There are three looks to choose from,  ” Laid Back Girl “, ” Intensified “, and ” Catty By Nature “.

This one ( above ) is the ” Laid Back Girl ” look. I really love how the name matches the look! You can look at the pictures above that tell you how to do it, but I’m still going to tell you the basics. First, there’s some brown eyeliner on the edge of the lid ,on the lid and under the bottom lashes, is a dark brown color, the crease has a bronze shadow on them to really bring out the dark brown, and finally, there is a white color in the corner of your eye to make you seem more awake. I also suggest wearing a light, nude rose colored lipstick or gloss to really pull the look together, but you can do whatever you feel for the lips.

This one ( above ) is the ” Intensified ” look. This look includes a bit of a fading effect on the lid. This started off as a white eye shadow, I can tell, and then had a light bronze in the middle, and then a dark bronze or brown color towards the other end of the eye. Then, I see that she put some more bronze in the crease to make it really have a shadowy effect. Finally just a cat eye that starts off a little thinner on the actual lid and gets thicker as it goes away from the lid. Then either some falsies like in this picture or some mascara.

This one ( above ) is the ” Catty by Nature ” look. The focus of this one is of course the eyes. Of course it starts off with some foundation and a little bronzer on the cheeks. Then the eyes. I believe that she has like an eye primer on and then, instead of liquid eyeliner, it looks like she used eye shadow and some pencil eyeliner. I think that she used the pencil liner for the edges of the lid and then did a small cat eye with it. Then she used the black eye shadow around it for the shadow effect.

Well that’s all for today guys! Let me know in the comments which one you picked, and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Tip Tuesday!

Hey guys! Today’s Tip Tuesday is going to be high heel related. Some ways on how to wear high heels without regretting it later. Let’s get started!

– Be sure that your heel is the correct size : Did you read the title? Make sure that the size isn’t too big or small, but as Goldilocks would say, just right!

–  The thicker the heel, the better! : Yeah, that’s right. The thinner the heel is, the better it is for your foot. The thick heels are better because you’re less likely to fall and/or really hurt your foot! That wouldn’t be fun at all!

– Relax, Feet : During the time you’re wearing heels, take them of and relax your feet. Be sure that your toes are polished and your feet look and smell appealing, since you’ll be taking them off from time to time =) .

– Wedges are better! : This last tip is pretty simple. If you are new to heels, be sure to start off with some wedges and as you get a little more used to heels, you can move to heels that have a chunky heel and then get thinner heels as you become a lot more used to it.

Well that’s all for today, guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. Sorry for the shortness of today’s post, it will be longer tomorrow, promise. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Motivational Monday!!!

Hey guys! Sorry I didn’t post over the weekend, I left my laptop in my grandma’s car  and forgot to get it out. So, yeah! Let’s get started on motivating people! ( Q – Quote )

Q #1. : ” The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.” – Benjamin E. Mays – Remember this.

Q #2. : ” By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands – your  own. ” – Mark Victor Hansen – In my case, instead of paper, a blog.

Q #3. : ” You don’t have to be somebody, because you are somebody.” – Myles Munroe – This should go for the people that don’t think that they are unworthy of anything, even living. But guess what? You ARE worth living! Everyone is worth living!

Q #4. : ” We can’t direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails. ” – Thomas S. Monson – No comment, because it’s so true.

Q #5. : ” If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer will always be no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place. ” – Nora Roberts – Couldn’t agree more!

Q #6. : ” Our greatest weapon against our stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. ” – William James – Literally think about this. You do have the power to choose positive thoughts over negative thoughts. That should turn that frown upside down! =(  =)

Q #7. : ” Broken crayons still color. ” I found this on some website, but knowing me, I remembered the quote but not the website I found it on. This is still a pretty nice quote, though.

Q #8. : ” Never stand begging for that which you have the power to earn. ” – Miguel de Cervantes – Stop begging people for something you can earn by yourself!

Q #9. : ” If you limit your choices to only what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that’s left is compromise. ” – Anais Nin – Your wildest dreams can come true, you know.

Q #10. : ” Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn’t give you credit.” – Once again, remembered the quote and not the website, but still an awesome quote!

Well that’s all for today guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Fashion Friday

Hey guys! Today’s Fashion Friday is going to be continued from what I was doing yesterday. Yep, sorry about that. I completely forgot that I was supposed to do that today! Yeah, so, let’s pick this back up! ( OS – Outfit Situation )

OS # 3. – In this situation, let’s say that you are going to Starbucks with your friends. The two outfits you have to choose from are ” Energy Saving Mode ” or ” Casual Chic”.

This one ( above ) is the ” Energy Saving Mode ” outfit. The shirt honestly describes my entire life in a few words. Next time when someone calls you lazy, be sure to correct them because you’re not lazy, you’re on energy saving mode! DUH. Anyways, I’d say that the focus of the outfit is definitely the sweater. Paired with the sweater, are some white skinny jeans ( not ANTI BREATHING jeans ), and some black flats that go around the back of your ankles. The jewelry is really simple, it’s just some tied knot earrings and a to die for black watch. That sounded kind of fancy! Imagine saying it with a British accent! Now makeup and hair. The hair is in a simple, messy side pony. There is very minimal makeup which I LOVE! The only makeup is some mascara and just some eos. I also meant to add some foundation or at least some concealer, but oh well! That’s it for this outfit, it’s very laid back, and it’s an amazingly casual outfit.

This one ( above ) is the ” Casual Chic ” outfit. Can I just say that this outfit is SOO me! I am IN LOVE with the entire outfit! The focus of this outfit is the bandana, definitely! The bandana is paired with a white, peter pan collared, short sleeved top, some light jeans, and some brown combat boots. The jewelry is just some simple pearl earrings and a bow knotted bracelet. The makeup is a smidge intense but mostly casual. The eye makeup is a simple long cat eye and some nude colored lip gloss. Then, the nails are a simple, really light pink color. That’s the outfit!

OS # 4. – So, in this last situation, let’s say that you were invited to go to the mall with your friends or shopping at all. The two outfits you have to choose from are ” Romper ” and ” Casual London Fashion ” .

This one ( above ) is the ” Romper” outfit. It should be easy to find the focus, it’s the ROMPER! The romper is then paired with some black converse, which I love converse, and a black fedora that you would wear pushed back on your head. The hair and makeup are a bit simple. The eye makeup is just some mascara and a cat eye. The lipstick is a nude rose kind of color. Then the hair is just curled up at the end. This will definitely have people shopping for YOUR outfit =).

This one ( above ) is the ” Casual London Fashion ” outfit. The focus of this outfit is the shorts, believe it or not. The shorts are paired with a dark blue, button down, peter pan collared top, and some white and light brown sandals. The hair and makeup are very simple. Just some mascara and some lip gloss. Again, meant to add some concealer and/or some concealer. But you’ll still have people asking for the YOUR OUTFIT department.

Well that’s all for today guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Random Thursday!!!

Hey guys, guess what day it is…… RANDOM THURSDAY!!! Today I’m going to be doing 2 outfit situations, kind of like what to wear to an event or something. Yeah! Let’s get started! ( OS – Outfit Situation )

OS # 1. – Let’s say that you were going to your favorite singer’s concert with some of your besties. The 2 outfits you have to choose from are ” I’m With the Band ”    and ” I’m So Fancy! “. =)

This one ( above ) is the ” I’m With the Band ” outfit. I for one love statement t – shirts, don’t know if that’s just me but oh well. The t – shirt is definitely the focus of the whole outfit. The leather pants really compliment the shirt very well to me. Then you have the necklace and the bangles that also compliment the shirt well. The shoes are obviously some black slip on sneakers that look very comfy from my screen! Now the hair and makeup are VERY simple. The eye makeup is just doing a simple, long cat eye and maybe do your eyebrows. Then some red lipstick. The hair is just some simple waves to kind of loosen up the hipster vibe a little bit.

This one ( above ) is the ” I’m So Fancy ” outfit. I really like this one because it describes me a little too well. Yep, wearing a t – shirt that reminds me of my awesomeness to go see someone else be awesome. JUST kidding! Anyways, the outfit! The focus of this outfit is once again the shirt. These two shirts can give each other a pat on the back for being the focus of the outfits! Can they even pat themselves on the back? Off topic again! Back to the outfit! The pants are some black, high waisted ( I believe ) shorts with some gold buttons on the sides of them. The shoes are SOOO cute! Just had to say that! They are some gold gladiator sandals. The hair is again some waves but these are more intense waves than the other outfit. The makeup is also pretty simple but a little more intense than the last outfit also. The eye makeup is a light, kind of golden color on the lid and a kind of bronze or brown in the crease. Then it’s completed with a cat eye. The lipsticks is just some really simple nude rose kind of color. Lastly, the phone case, of course. It’s just a black phone case with a diamond pattern. That’s the outfit!

OS # 2. – So here, let’s say that you were going to go to a beach party. A night on the beach. Sounds pretty nice, doesn’t it? There are 2 outfits to choose from.   “Lover of the Beach ” and ” Beach Fancy ”

This one ( above ) is the ” Lover of the Beach ” outfit. The focus of the outfit is the the shorts, I have to say. The shirt is a tank top that says ” I Will Never Let You Sink ” on it. It’s almost as cute as the shorts! The shoes are some basic brown and gold sandals, and the jewelry is a pair of earrings and a bracelet. The hair and makeup are once again very simple. The hair is just in, you guessed it, some beach waves! The eye makeup is just a simple cat eye and some mascara. The lips are just in a nude gloss. The perfume in this one is just a simple, beachy perfume. Yeah!

This one ( above ) is the ” Beach Fancy ” outfit. The focus of this outfit is the dress, of course. Partnered with the dress are some beautiful jeweled sandals, some silver starfish earrings, a shell chocker, a starfish ring, and a nice shelled phone case. The perfume used in the outfit is called Orange Blossoms and Seashells.  The hair and makeup are a bit more intense than the other outfit. The eye makeup is basically a light pink shadow on the lid, a darker shade of pink in the crease, a white shadow in the inner corner of your eye to make you look a lot more awake and really make the shadows pop. The lipstick is just a light shade of hot pink or a bit of a dark salmon color. The hair is pulled to the side as a long, fishtail braid to complete the look. I meant to add a shrug to the dress, but I forgot about it so bare with me.

Well that’s all for today guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. Sorry for being late on posting the past two days, I’ll try to post on time tomorrow. I’ve been pretty busy lately. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!

Makeup Wednesday!

Hey guys! So, today’s makeup Wednesday is going to be telling you how to achieve the false eye lash look without falsies themselves! This sounds like it’s going to be simple, and I’m going to be honest, it’s pretty simple. But I just thought that you guys should know. Let’s get started!

You’ll Need :

– Mascara with a firm , hard brush

– Soft, brittle mascara

– ( EXTRA 🙂 ) pencil eye liner

Okay so first of all, you’ll need to use a mascara that has a nice firm brush. Not with soft bristles! Now, apply this on the tips of the eye lash only. Don’t put any sort of product on the roots of your eye lashes. Also, when you’re applying this, try to make your lashes long and curly. After that, you’re going to want to take an eye lash curler and put it as far back as you possibly can on your eye lashes and make sure that you don’t get any of your bottom lashes. When using the eye lash curler, make sure that you press down softly. I say this because if you press down too hard, you could break off your eye lashes! You don’t want that to happen! Once you think that you curled them enough, you can let go.

Next, get a soft brittle mascara. Yeah NOW you can get out that brittle mascara! When you get that, you go over the other mascara as much as you can. THEN you go to the root and brush ( do this for a good amount of time ). When that’s all done, brush across the tips and brush across the root ( DON’T STROKE UP WHEN YOU DO THIS! ). Be sure to take your time doing this so that they come out all flawless! Also, put AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT clumping them. Take your time using the end of the brush for extra product and put EXTRA on the ends of your lashes to make them appear longer ( I’m talking Barbie doll long! ). After doing the first coat, wait a little while for them to dry. Repeat the same step several times when they are dry. If you want your lashes to look even darker and/or longer, apply some pencil eyeliner on the top water line of your eyes ( under your top lashes for those who may not know your top waterline ). On the bottom lashes, also go from side to side for extra darkness and the tip. On the bottom lashes, also re – coat everything again once they are dry.

Well, that’s all for today, guys! Be sure to leave a comment and give this blog a thumbs UP. I’ll talk to you guys tomorrow, BYE!!!
